Happy 2013 Fans!

A Much Needed Songwriting Break!

2013 has already been a whirlwind for the band and I. On January 2nd, we packed up everything and made the move to Nashville officially permanent! Our days of lengthy monthly trips to Nashville from Philadelphia are over. Starting on January 3rd, we hit the ground running and we still haven’t stopped (which is wonderful!). Every Thursday night, we have been playing at “Tequila Cowboy” downtown from 6-10pm. Doesn’t that sound like a long time? Try four hours in heels! PHEW!

On Friday and Sunday, we have been playing at the Opry Mills Mall performing two hour acoustic sets. Having the shows down here have been great! I get to keep my “chops” up by being pushed to my limits every week, and I get to meet a lot of fans every week. Last weekend, we performed for a total of twelve hours! Talk about a workout!

Living in Nashville has its perks! I got to attend a drum clinic with the one and only Rich Redmond! He is the drummer for Jason Aldean and is an amazing role model for aspiring musicians. In addition, we have also been caught in the middle of filming for the television series “Nashville” on ABC several times. My father is going to be an extra on the set of “Nashville” as a Bluebird Cafe patron

What a crazy three weeks! I’m looking forward to meeting you all at my shows this year! If the past three weeks have been any indication of what 2013 has in store, it is going to be an amazing year and I am so happy I get to share it all with you!
